After obtaining his BSc in Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK, Yu Shen founded his own Sales & Marketing firm upon his return to Malaysia. Subsequently, he sold the firm in 2017 and joined Rodgers Reidy & Co. in 2018.

Yu Shen has experience in various liquidation, receivership and corporate restructuring engagements across numerous industries. In 2024, he became the youngest licensed Liquidator in Malaysia. Yu Shen is also heavily involved in providing consultancy services to many clients and handling Mergers & Acquisition deals.

Yu Shen is also currently growing the Firm’s presence in Singapore. He is also acting as the General Manager of the Firm and is overseeing the Firm’s recruitment and staff development.

His key experiences include:

• Manages and oversees voluntary and court winding up of companies involved in various industries;
• Manages and oversees receivership administration of companies involved in various industries;
• Manages and oversees implementation of various corporate rescue mechanisms on companies such as Scheme of Arrangement, Corporate Voluntary Arrangement and Judicial Management;
• Manages and oversees Mergers & Acquisitions deals for distressed and non-distressed assets; and
• Provides advisory and consultancy services to companies in Malaysia and Singapore that want to restructure or wind down their businesses and operations.
