Beer with Brownie – AFL Grand Final Talk.
To entertain and inform you, we have lined up Hawk Premiership player Campbell Brown to join a panel headed by Collingwood tragic Brent Morgan and Lions hopeful Brodie Hilet.
Brownie was the Hawk’s hard man in defence who strategically went forward during its 2008 Premiership winning season after being an All-Australian in 2007 before switching to the Gold Coast Suns for its maiden season in the AFL in 2011.
Campbell never took a backward step on or off the field, which we’re sure he’ll agree was both good and bad. His courage was never in doubt, he barrelled into every contest on the field like it was his last, and his football commentary is the same. He doesn’t take a backward step, says it as he sees it, and is always up for a laugh.
Brodie is the author of our weekly ‘weekend that was’ summary that goes out to our footy tippers each Monday, if you missed his ramblings, make sure you sign up for the tipping next year. He is happy to get stuck into any team except Brisbane.
And then there is Brent, we know him from the serious side of our seminar series, and for this seminar he has the challenge of trying to keep two rogues under control while putting his case forward for Pies Premiership #16… or its 28th runner-up title if the Pies can get that close.
Join us for this lunch either in house or online. We’re sure you will be entertained and informed. We kick off at 11am and will run for at least an hour online and longer in person.
This talk will be simulcast as a Webinar and will have a light lunch for those in live attendance. If issues arise and we cannot host the talk, we will run this as a Webinar only and advise you as early as possible. The web link will be sent after registration.
